Unzyme

The music video for “Louder than the Voice of Reason” came about when Joona Nuutinen, known by the stage name Unzyme, wrote and composed the song out of his passion for music. From the very first chords, a vision emerged of a smoky, intense atmosphere that carries through the entire video.

The video explores our choice between being trapped with technology and freedom. It illustrates how we are “doomed” to use social media—at first with caution, then with curiosity, and finally so addicted that we accept it as part of our daily lives, even if it binds us like a life sentence.

The central character is an AI-generated cellmate who symbolizes our relationship with social media. We draw pictures of it, talk about it, and dream through it—but at the same time, we are imprisoned within its confines.

The music video was filmed in a civil defense shelter located in Kontula, Helsinki.

The project consisted of writing the script for a music video, a three-day shoot, and editing the video.

Unzyme

The Springwater music video is a documentary-style film shot on an old warship amid the harsh winds of the Baltic Sea. The song “Springwater” appears on Unzyme’s fifth album, Interference. The exact location of the site is kept secret to preserve its rugged beauty and uniqueness. This was our first, but not the last collaboration with Unzyme.

The video tells a story about the power of alcohol: its allure and the grip it holds, which won’t let go even when you want it to. The green liquid acts as both a poison and a source of power—it makes whoever drinks it feel strong and invincible for a moment. Eventually, the voice keeps calling your name until you give in and choose it again and again.

The day of filming was intense for everyone, but definitely worth the effort. The video was shot in a single day, and the finished piece was completed in a few weeks.
